I have the same feeling too like I would imagine people in the halls going about their daily lives and seeing the babies there in the beds. ._. It's like looking into the memory of the building. Like the game the curse of black waters ( I think I named it right ) but anyway its kinda sad seeing what remains of these abandoned buildings and it's like it's hiding a secret, kinda like what you said. X3
i've been near one (a small hospital that is in my town that is right by a small fire fighter station) but all the windows are boarded up and couldn't go inside and me and a group of friends did plan a day to go inside it since one of them did went into that building with her best friend and she was going to show us (me and 3 other chicks) but unfortinually we graduated/ moved and never went inside man, i had my camera ready and everything for that night. lets see there are a two abandoned building that i know that are in my town that small hospital and a wooden house. i remember that hospital being open (never went inside just staid outside of it) and out of no were it closed. i don't know why but its just there collecting dust :/ i still want to go inside of it but with a small group of friends
Quite a lot of abandons are pictured in a dark style most likely to give the abandoned mood necessary to convey to the viewer. I like the brightness of this one because it gives hope in the face of loss. Excellent job and congrats on the DD!!!
It always puzzles me to see photos from abandoned hospitals. First, in Hungary there's virtually no such thing as abandoned hospitals, as we use our hospitals to death (sorry for the pun), second, abandoned buildings with so much resources in it (look at all those intact tiles and metal!) tend to get burglarized in hours...
